At Adenauer & Co., the “fascination of the sea” runs in the family. As a young boy, our founder Andreas Adenauer spent his holidays on the coast of Sweden, his mother’s homeland. As the grandson of former German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer, his deep connection to the sea, the beach and the waves was something he was born with. Inspired by this passion for long summer days in the sand and the scent of fresh seawater, he founded our clothing brand Adenauer & Co. in 2011. Today, this maritime lifestyle is a central theme in every A & Co. collection.

A large part of our clothing, such as hoodies, T-shirts, sweaters, jeans, shirts and blouses, is produced in Europe according to the highest quality standards. For special materials and products, such as cashmere, we work with excellent partners in Asia, who in this case have the strongest expertise and craftsmanship in this field, allowing us to ensure the best possible quality for these items. Germany is our home, and that is why we love Europe. Andreas follows the principle: “Live in Europe, buy from Europe.” This is not a sailor’s tale, but a firm belief!

Today, we operate more than 45 Strandhäuser in Germany, Austria and Spain. That is what we lovingly call our stores. Adenauer & Co. Strandhäuser offer a lovingly designed shopping experience, filled with details such as lifebuoys, sailor’s ropes, messages in bottles, beach lights and anchors, all personally decorated by our captain with great attention to detail.
